Times: Games start at 6:30pm & 7:15pm
Location: Logan Circle, one block over from 14th and P St.
Start Date: March 28th | End Date: May 23rd
Teams Sizes: 6-10 players; 8 player recommended
Maximum Number of Teams: 16 teams

Registration Information:

Tuesday - March 5th - Early Registration Opens @ 10am (Returning Players Only) $40

Thursday - March 7th - Open Registration @ 10am (New & Returning Players) $45

Registration will close on Monday 3/11 at Midnight ET OR as soon as we reach 175 players

That's right bocce peeps-time to blow out Nellie's with our last party of Stonewall Bocce Season #2. Join us this Thursday (5/24) after the last bright ball has been thrown, where we will cheer the winners, console the losers and generally get NUTS...and yes, you can take that however you want.

To the winners go the spoils-$1,500 for FIRST place, $750 for SECOND place, $250 for THIRD place teams.  Will you go first to worst, or soar to new heights? It all goes down Thursday in the Circle.

Oh Bocce Captains, Our Captains...IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Greetings, and WELCOME to Season 2 of Stonewall Bocce—who’s ready to get those balls dirty for a great cause?  We are SUPER excited to start official league play as of next Thursday, March 29^th, but before we can get this season started, we have a few events that are longing for your presence and participation!

Captain's Meeting (Thursday, March 22^nd, 7:00 PM at Nellie’s)

If you’re a returning captain, you know how critical this meeting is—and if you’re a brand-new captain, you definitely don’t want to miss it!  Not only is it a great opportunity to meet fellow captains, it’s also a time for us to give you a full overview of the season, talk about logistics, league rules, etc.  Our fabulous SB team will be ready and waiting for you at our exclusive sponsor bar, Nellie's, this Thursday (March 22^nd) at 7:00 PM, so please plan to attend or ask a representative to be there…thanks in advance for your support and attendance!

Season 2 Opening Mixer (Monday, March 26^th, 6:00-8:00 PM at Nellie’s)

This little get-together is a great way to meet other teams, pick up your team t-shits and start trash talking like only true SB ballers can!  Again, Nellie’s is our generous sponsor bar, so let’s show them the love!  Please encourage all your team members to attend and pick up their t-shirts and join us for awesome drink specials on the roof top.

Season 2 Opening Day (Thursday, March 29^th, 6:00 PM at Logan Circle) That’s right bad-ass bocce friends, it’s time to GET IT ON!  We’ll begin promptly at 6:00 PM with a quick Bocce 101 to review our league rules and show new players how it’s done.  Whether you’re a veteran baller or a first-timer, come out at 6:00 and get ready to ROLL DEM BALLS…

STONEWALL BOCCE - PLAYOFF SCHEDULE!

On Saturday, Nov. 5th starting at 11am Stonewall Bocce’s playoff games kickoff at Logan Circle! 

Below is an outline of the day:

11am - Round 1

Noon - Lunch/Drinks at Nellie's 

1pm - Round 2 (Elite Eight)

2pm - Round 3 (Final Four)

Below you will find a detailed schedule with round 1 pairings.

The top four seeds in the regular season will receive a bye for round 1 and auto advance to round 2.

This weekend – Saturday 11/5 at 11am – we will start playoff games! We are super pumped and can’t wait to see who will be the Champions of Stonewall Bocce Season 1.

MONDAY MIXER!

Hey Ballers!

Now that summer is just about over (put away those tank tops and white pumps), it’s time to gear up for Stonewall Bocce’s Fall season!!  I hope that everyone is as excited as we are about the fun, friendship and philanthropy that are the cornerstones of this league.  But first, we need people to show up psyched and ready to PLAY!

Event:      Stonewall Bocce’s Fall League Kick-Off and Mixer

Where:     Nellie’s Sports Bar (900 U Street NW—as if you didn’t know!)

When:      6:00-8:00 pm

Why:        Like You Don’t Know?  Read on!!

Our SB mixer is the perfect chance for teams to meet, greet and size up the competition before we officially get the season rolling.  We’ll have team shirts ready for you to pick up and we’ll also be asking each of you to sign our “Please Don’t Sue Us” waiver, which we MUST have from each bocce player before our first official day of league play on Wednesday, September 14^th.

So bring your teammates to Nellie’s (and any other thirsty friends/colleagues who are looking for something to do on a Monday night),  show your team spirit, talk a little trash and have a drink or two with your new Stonewall Bocce buddies…come on, it’ll be FUN!
